I have been thinking about what to say about the death of John Paul II.
His achievements are undeniably remarkable.
Here are a few remarks;
- “intrinsically disordered”
- “deviant”
- “gravely immoral”
-“against the natural moral law”

New Plumbing
Sometimes things work out, like conquering my fear of plumbing. I am an electrician not a plumber. Everyone knows electricity and water doesn’t mix, right. So today with trepidation and a sale on Moen faucets I went out and finally bought a set of new kitchen taps and decided it was time to do something about the annoying wasteful dripping tap that had been depriving me of sleep of late. Well that and things had deteriorated to the point where I would get sprayed in the face if I turned the hot and cold on at the same time. You might ask why not just replace the washers, well when I renovated my kitchen almost 7 years ago, I of course choose Euro Chic and Stylish over practical and functional. That company no longer exists, nor do parts to repair their all style no substance products. Therefore I have retreated to good old name brand made in North America reliability. This story should at this point turn into one of those plumbing horror stories but it did not. 45 minutes to take the old taps out and 30 minutes to put the new one in and everything went like clock work. No missing parts or tools, no hideous complications, nothing else broke or flooded. I can’t believe my luck. Now about that painting outside and the garden and the junk in the shed and the hunt for a boyfriend and….Bill
